Jetfire is a master of aerial combat who was dispatched from Cybertron to provide a search and rescue for Optimus Primal and his team on Earth. He is very serious but knows when to lighten up. Jetfire has great consideration for young Maximal warriors and does his best to treat them with respect (though he occasionally has trouble with Leobreaker). He is a teacher at heart who tries to share his wisdom and skill with all who are willing to learn from it. He also knows his Cybertronian history about the Fallen and the Dynasty of the Primes which is quite useful at times.

He can combine with Leobreaker and Ironhide to form Magnaboss.
